It is an exciting time for us here at Optus and we now have an opportunity available for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join a team of highly knowledgeable Analytics professionals, in the role of Campaign Data Scientist!
This innovative and collaborative team is accountable for the optimisation of Optus’s direct marketing campaign activity. In particular, they are responsible for the campaign design, insights and models that support the strategic and tactical direct marketing initiatives.
In order to be considered for this role, you will have strong analytical experience coupled with a proven track record of sourcing and manipulating data to deliver robust analysis and problem solving in a dynamic and complex environment.
As a minimum you will have excellent SQL skills, script programming knowledge, such as R and Python, plus statistical modelling (predictive modelling) like regression and generalised linear models. Experience in applying these techniques to drive business outcomes for direct customer marketing campaigns would be an advantage.
As a Campaign Data Scientist, you will be required to get the right information, to the right people, at the right time! And while this data and timeliness is of the utmost importance, we need someone who can provide this in a format that can be readily understood by the wider Insights and Customer Marketing teams (technical and non-technical stakeholders).
You will be responsible for developing experimental and campaign designs, improve the performance of campaigns through building and executing models and perform post campaign analysis.
