Analyst or Forecasting Analyst – Tertiary Sector Performance Analysis team.
We have vacancies for a capable and committed quantitative senior analyst/analyst and a senior forecasting analyst/forecasting analyst to join the Ministry of Education’s Tertiary Education Group. Tertiary education in particular helps people realise their potential and supports the development of a skilled workforce.
Our Tertiary Sector Performance Analysis team is responsible for monitoring, forecasting and analysing the performance of the tertiary education system and for providing the evidence to support our policy analysts working in this area. The team also works with other social sector government agencies. The Ministry’s role in tertiary education offers exciting challenges for quantitative analysts.

- Do you have skills in one or more of: forecasting, policy costing, statistical analysis or data manipulation and data management?
- Can you work effectively with others to find solutions?
Experience in quantitative analysis, research, costing or forecasting in a Government setting would be useful in this role.
We are interested in looking at applications at senior analyst level or at analyst level.
