You will design and adapt mathematical, statistical, and econometric techniques to provide advice and insight about the probable effects of a recommended course of action.

As a Trader you will provide the market with prices with which they can trade. You will use Optiver's own software to adjust prices, monitor positions and make trades. Outside of market hours, you will develop tools and conduct analysis with the goal of assisting both your own and the team's trading.

Join the team responsible for campaign design, insights and models that support the strategic and tactical direct marketing initiatives.

You will liaise with scientists and managers across organisations and play a lead role in the design and implementation of future iterations and features of the AIMS Data Management Platform.

The role will focus on statistical consultancy including: advising on statistical components of scientific proposals; experimental design; data analysis and communication of results to scientists and their customers.

You’ll help us present high quality statistical information and interpretation to a wide audience, including commissioners, policy makers, health professionals and researchers.

You will be focused on specific advanced data science solutions, including Predictive Customer Intelligence, Supply Chain Optimization, Risk and Fraud Analytics, and Predictive Asset Optimization.

You will contribute to a project to enhance the capacity of national statistical offices to produce and disseminate good quality and fit-for-purpose statistics on disability for evidence-based policy making and monitoring.

Under the general guidance and support of academic staff and the Scottish Water Analytics Team, the Associate will lead the development of analytical tools and predictive models for water quality for Scottish Water.
