Profile
OpenAnalytics is an international company based in Antwerp (Belgium) providing data analysis services and products across geographies and industrial sectors. We are looking to expand our team of statisticians with a candidate who fits the following profile:
- MSc / PhD in Statistics, Applied Mathematics or Computer Science interested to work on applied statistics problems
- team player and good communicator with fluency in English, verbal and written
- strong experience in statistics, data mining or machine learning
- sound knowledge of a language for statistical computing (R, Python, Julia, . . . )
Description
The successful candidate will
- interact with scientists from OpenAnalytics customers in order to devise and implement analysis methods tailored to novel experiments
- perform data analyses on challenging datasets to assess the relevance of and fine-tune analysis methods
- provide input to OpenAnalytics colleagues that develop the broader hardware and software infrastructure for data analysis purposes
